Oh my gosh, I can't love this enough!! I have been beating this drum for going on 15 years now. I live in a once-red city that I saw being infiltrated back in 2010, and have tried mightily to get more conservatives engaged ever since, to little avail - conservatives just aren't that interested in local. We are now a purple city, with declining schools, rising taxes and crime and 15-minute city developments proliferating. People complain, or move, but don't bother getting involved.
